View Past Flights and Flight Details
For Admin, Office admin, Instructor
The Flights page lists your school's completed flights, newest first. Open a past flight to see its times, meter readings, people, and route on a map.
Browse past flights
- Click Flights in the sidebar. The page is titled Past Flights.
- Each card shows the tail number and date, the Customer, Instructor, Route, Activity, and the Take off and Landing times.
- Scroll to the bottom and click View more to load older flights.
To narrow the list, click Filter and choose Aircraft, Instructor, Customer, or Date Range. Click Clear to show everything again.
Only completed flights appear here. A flight that was flown but not completed yet is still on the Incomplete tab in Reservations.
Open a flight
Click a flight card. The map opens full screen with the route, and a card on the right shows the flight details:
- Flight hours, Flight instruction, and Ground instruction. Simulator sessions show Simulator hours and Simulator instruction instead.
- Landings, when they were logged.
- Hobbs and Engine 1 Tach, out and in.
- Airtime, if your school tracks it.
- The Customer and Instructor, the check-out selfie if one was taken, and any Attachment saved with the flight.
If your school has ADS-B tracks for the flight, the actual track draws over the map. See See ADS-B Flight Tracks and Live Flights.
What you can do from a flight
- Full Reservation opens Reservation Details, where staff can edit the flight or add an invoice. See Edit a Completed Flight.
- Postcard makes a keepsake PDF for the customer when postcards are turned on. See Send a Flight Postcard.
- The map controls at the top left switch the map style and track color, show the altitude profile, replay the track, and open Flight Replay. See Create a Flight Replay Video.
Click Back at the top left to return to the list.
Tips
- For a spreadsheet of a whole month's flights, use the Sheet tab in Reports. See Export the Flight Sheet.
- Open a flight straight from a reservation: in Reservation Details for a completed flight, click Open in Flights on the map.
Troubleshooting
- A flight is missing. It hasn't been completed, or a filter is on. Click Clear, then check Reservations > Incomplete.
- "No flight details recorded." The flight was completed without meter readings or hours. Staff can add them by editing the completed flight.
- A ground lesson isn't listed. Ground training, meeting rooms, and instructor activities aren't flights, so they stay out of this list. Find them in Reservations.
