Book Recurring Reservations

A recurring reservation books the same lesson or rental on a repeating pattern, like every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 for the next two months. Each date becomes its own reservation on the schedule, linked as a series.

Steps

1. Open Schedule and click New Reservation.
2. Fill in the first lesson as usual: Activity type, times, Instructor, Customer, and Aircraft. See Book a Flight.
3. At the bottom of the form, check Recurring.
4. Under Repeat this reservation, pick Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom.
5. Set how often it repeats:
   • Weekly: set Repeat every (for example 1 week or 2 weeks), then pick the days under Repeat on.
   • Monthly: it repeats on the same date as the start date, every number of months you set.
   • Custom: it repeats every number of days you set, counted from the start date.
6. Check Start on.
7. Choose how it ends: End date, or After a number of occurrences.
8. Click Create Reservation.

Limits

A series can have up to 365 daily occurrences, 52 weekly, or 12 monthly. For longer programs, book a new series when the first one runs out.

Conflicts

Sky Schedule checks every date in the series. If one date overlaps another booking or a maintenance block, you see Time Slot Unavailable with the day and time of the conflict. Change the pattern or the aircraft, or click Override if the overlap is intentional.

Change or cancel a series

• Change one date: open that reservation on the schedule and click Edit. Editing changes only that day.
• Cancel: open any reservation in the series and click Cancel Reservation. Under Days, choose This day only or This day and all later days, pick a reason, and confirm. See Cancel or Reschedule a Reservation.

Tips

• Turn on Reservation reminders in Settings > Email so customers get an email before each lesson in the series. See Send Reservation Reminder Emails.
• Before a long series, check the aircraft's upcoming inspections so you don't book through one that comes due.

Troubleshooting

• The occurrences stopped earlier than expected. The series hit its limit or end date. Book a new series starting after the last date.
• Canceling removed more days than I wanted. This day and all later days cancels the rest of the series. Use This day only for a single date.
