Connect Claude or Another AI Agent (MCP)

Sky Schedule has a hosted MCP server, so an AI agent such as Claude can work with your school's data. Once connected, you can ask it things like "What's on the schedule tomorrow?" or "Book N123AB for Sam at 2 pm Friday."

What the agent can do

• Read: reservations, completed flights, customers, instructors, aircraft, leads, reports, work orders, squawks, inspections, inventory, reminders, reservation comments, and Team Chat channels.
• Write: create, update, cancel, or void reservations, complete a flight, update Hobbs and Tach, add an aircraft document, log a fuel reimbursement, add a lead note, email a lead, run a report, create a work order, draft an invoice for a flight, and send a Team Chat message.

Steps

1. Open Settings > Integrations.
2. Click Connect with your agent, then Connect.
3. Sky Schedule creates your school's connection and copies setup instructions to your clipboard.
4. Open Connection details to see the Endpoint and API Key.

Claude (claude.ai)

1. In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors, click +, and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it Sky Schedule and paste the Server URL ending in /api/mcp.
3. Set authentication to no sign-in, and add the request header Authorization with the value Bearer followed by your key.
4. Save. Don't paste the JSON config into the URL field.

Cursor, Grok, or Claude Desktop

Under Grok Bot / Cursor, copy the JSON config and paste it into the app's MCP settings (for Cursor, mcp.json).

Limits

• 1,000 MCP requests per school per day.
• 200 write actions per day.
• Every tool call is logged. Connection details shows the last activity.

Revoke or replace access

• Rotate replaces the key. Update the new key in every agent you connected.
• Disconnect removes the connection. This also turns off your school's API key.

Tips

• Treat the key like a password. Anyone with it can read and change your school's data through the agent.
• The full key is only shown on the device where you connected. On another device, click Rotate to get a new one you can copy.
• Review what an agent plans to do before it books or cancels flights.

Troubleshooting

• "MCP write limit reached (200/day UTC)." Writes reset at midnight UTC. Read tools still work.
• "Invalid or revoked API key." The key was rotated or disconnected. Copy the current key into your agent.
• Claude asks you to sign in with OAuth. Remove the connector and add it again with no sign-in and the Authorization header.
