Customize Your Overview Dashboard

Overview is the first page admins see after signing in. It's a quick read on today's operation: four numbers you choose, one featured panel, your fleet's status, and a map.

What's on the Overview

• Metric cards: four numbers across the top, each with a change from last month when there's history to compare. Hover the ? on a card to see how it's counted. Click a card to jump to the related page.
• Featured panel: one larger panel below the cards, such as Upcoming Flights.
• Fleet Status: each aircraft tagged Available, In Flight, Maintenance, or Aircraft Blocked, based on what's on the schedule right now. Click it to open Maintenance.
• Flight Map: centered on your home airport. Live flights shows aircraft in the air when your school has the Flight Tracking add-on.

Choose your four metrics and featured panel

1. Open Settings from the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
2. Choose Customization and scroll to Overview Metrics.
3. Pick a number for Metric 1 through Metric 4.
4. Pick a Featured panel.

Changes save as you pick them and apply to every admin at your school.

Metric options

Scheduled Today, Active Customers, Flights This Month, Aircraft Utilization (share of the fleet that flew yesterday), Total Flights, Gross Volume (collected from paid invoices), Outstanding Invoices, Active Instructors, Membership Enrollments, Total Hours This Month, Fleet Size, Completed Flights This Month, MRR (monthly recurring revenue from memberships), Payments This Month, and Pending Reservations.

The defaults are Scheduled Today, Active Customers, Flights This Month, and Aircraft Utilization.

Featured panel options

• Upcoming Flights: reservations for the week ahead.
• Activities: upcoming reservations and items that need attention.
• Alerts: items that need attention.
• Flight Hours by Aircraft: this month's hours per tail number.
• Fleet Status: availability and maintenance status for your fleet.
• Recent Transactions: latest paid invoices.
• Unpaid Invoices: open invoices that still need payment.

Tips

• A front desk might pick Scheduled Today, Pending Reservations, and Upcoming Flights. An owner might pick Gross Volume, Outstanding Invoices, and Aircraft Utilization.
• Instructors and customers get their own Overview with the information that fits their role.

Troubleshooting

• The map is in the wrong place. Set Home airport (ICAO) in Settings > Organization.
• Live flights shows nothing. It only finds aircraft that are airborne right now, and needs the Flight Tracking add-on.
• A metric shows 0% change. Some metrics, like Active Customers, don't compare to last month.
