How do we process payments?

Right now, we allow flight schools to process payments through Stripe, which is the world’s most trusted payment processor and gives you a ton of flexibility. You can invoice students based on whatever you want — flight sessions, total hours, or custom training packages. Students can track Hobbs time, get assigned packages, and automatically receive notifications when payments are due. You can even set due dates, reminders, and partial payments if needed.

Are there any payment processing fees?

Absolutely not from us. We don’t take a cut of your payments — you get 100% of what you charge. All payments go through your Stripe account, and you’re only subject to Stripe’s standard processing fees, which are super competitive and already built-in.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — Sky Schedule is completely free to explore and test out. Once you start adding real data like students or aircraft, we offer affordable monthly plans built to grow with your flight school.

Can instructors set their own availability?

Absolutely. Instructors can log into their own account and set the hours they’re available to fly. When students try to book, they’ll only see those available time slots. It’s all request-based instructors can approve or adjust flights as needed.

Can I add our branding and logo to the platform?

Yes. You can upload your school’s logo right inside the admin settings, and it will appear on the student dashboard, staff views, and booking panels.

Is there a mobile app?

There’s no downloadable app yet, (Coming December) but Sky Schedule works perfectly on any phone or tablet. The whole platform is fully mobile optimized, so your staff and students can do everything on the go.
