1. Our Commitment
Sky Schedule wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about and use our website and flight school platform. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
2. What We Do
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative images from screen readers
- Label form fields and buttons so they are announced correctly by assistive technology
- Support keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and skip links
- Respect your device's reduced-motion setting for animations
- Allow text to be resized and pages to be zoomed
- Use sufficient color contrast and never rely on color alone to convey information
- Build our cookie banner and dialogs so they can be operated with a keyboard and screen reader
- Test with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks when we release significant changes
We do not use accessibility "overlay" widgets. We fix accessibility issues in our own code.
3. Known Limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, and some parts of our website and platform may not yet fully conform. Areas we are actively improving include:
- Some animated and interactive product illustrations on the website, which may not convey all of their information to screen-reader users. The same information is available in the surrounding text.
- Some icon-only buttons in the platform that may not yet have descriptive labels.
- Third-party content we do not control, such as payment forms provided by Stripe and maps or embedded content from other providers.
4. Feedback and Help
If you have trouble using any part of our website or platform, or need information in a different format, please contact us:
- Email: ryan@skyschedule.info (subject line "Accessibility")
- Website: skyschedule.io/contact
Please tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to respond within 2 business days and will work with you to provide the information or service you need through an accessible alternative while we fix the issue.
5. Formal Complaints
We take every report seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response, reply to our message and ask for escalation, and the owner of Sky Schedule will review it personally.
