How flight school billing should work
A single lesson can involve aircraft time at one rate, flight instruction at another, ground instruction at a third, plus a Hobbs or tach multiplier and any fees you configure, all split between a student's prepaid package and a card on file. Sky Schedule prices the flight from the completed reservation. Rates come from the aircraft, the instructor, and the reservation type; adjustments are itemized; and the resulting invoice is visible to the student immediately in their portal or the iOS app.
