Show Your Schedule on a TV

Display turns any TV with a web browser into a status board for your lobby or dispatch room. It shows today's schedule, the weather, the most recent flight, and a running count, and it refreshes every minute. You set it up once and open the link on the TV. Only admins and office admins can set it up.

Set it up

1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
2. Choose Display. A preview of the screen is at the top.
3. Click New Link to create the screen's link.
4. Choose what's on the screen. Turn each panel on or off:
   • Today's Schedule
   • Weather for your home airport
   • Most Recent Flight
   • By the Numbers: pick Flights today, Flights this week, Flights this month, or Hours flown this month
5. Adjust the details:
   • Show Names: names on the schedule and the most recent flight. Turn it off to show only the activity type on each booking.
   • Instructor Under the Customer: adds the instructor's name under each customer.
   • Schedule Hours: the first and last hour shown on the schedule.
   • Look: Dark or Light.
   • Show Logo and Show Clock.
6. Click Save.

The screen needs at least one panel turned on.

Put it on the TV

1. Click Copy to copy the link, or Open to try it in a new tab.
2. On the TV, open its web browser and go to the link. A small computer or streaming stick plugged into the TV works too.
3. Make the browser full screen.

Anyone with the link can see the screen, so share it only with the TVs that need it.

Change or replace the link

Changes you save show on the TV within a minute, without touching it. If the link gets out, or you just want a fresh one, click New Link and confirm Make New Link. The old link stops working right away, so update every TV that used it.

Tips

• Turn off Show Names if the TV faces the public, such as a lobby or a window.
• Set Schedule Hours to your operating hours so the day fits on the screen.
• Set Home airport (ICAO) in Settings > Organization so the weather is right. See Organization Settings.

Troubleshooting

• The TV shows an old layout. Make sure you clicked Save, then give it a minute or reload the page on the TV.
• The TV says "This display link isn't active." Someone made a new link. Copy the new one to the TV.
• There's no Display in Settings. It's for admins and office admins only.
