Send a Sign-Up Link
For Admin, Instructor
New people join your school by creating an account from your sign-up link. You can email them an invitation, copy a link to send yourself, or put a sign-up form on your website.
Invite one person by email
- Open Customers and click Add Customer.
- Enter their Full name and Email, and pick their Role (customer category).
- Click Send Invitation.
They're added to your dashboard right away and get an email with a Create your account button. If you leave out the email, they're added without an invitation.
To invite an instructor or office admin, open Settings > Members & Invitations, click Send Invite, and choose Customer, Instructor, or Office Admin.
Copy a sign-up link
- Open Settings > Members & Invitations.
- Under Sign Up Links, click Copy next to Customer signup link, Instructor signup link, or Office admin signup link.
- Paste it into an email, text, or a button on your website.
Sign-up links are for people joining your school for the first time. Anyone who already has a Sky Schedule login should sign in instead.
Resend to someone already on your list
Open their profile, click Account, then Send sign-up link. Confirm with Send invite.
Embed sign-up on your website
- In Settings > Members & Invitations, go to Website.
- Turn on Require approval for new accounts. The embed code stays locked until you do, so strangers can't get into your school without your OK.
- Choose Who can sign up: Customers & instructors, Customers only, or Instructors only.
- Adjust the width, height, theme, and wording if you like.
- Click Copy Code and paste it into your website.
Approval
When Require account approval is on in Settings > General, new customer sign-ups wait for you before they can sign in. Instructor and office admin sign-ups always need approval. See Approve Sign-Ups and Review Onboarding.
Tips
- Instructors can add customers when Instructors invite customers is on in Settings > General.
- Pair the invite with an onboarding form so new customers upload documents and sign policies before their first lesson.
Troubleshooting
- "Approval required." Turn on Require approval for new accounts before copying embed code.
- "Could not add person." The email may already belong to someone in your school. Search Customers first.
