Add Aircraft to Your Fleet

For Admin

Every aircraft you want on the schedule needs to be in your fleet. You can add aircraft one at a time, pull them from your school's website, or import a CSV file.

Add one aircraft

  1. Open Aircraft in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add to Fleet and choose Aircraft.
  3. Under Aircraft Photo, drop in a photo, or click Skip to add one later. Click Next.
  4. Fill in Aircraft Model, Tail Number, and Year. These are required.
  5. Add the Hourly Rate ($), Horsepower, and Aircraft Type if you have them. Under Avionics (Optional), list equipment such as a G1000, and use Add another for more lines.
  6. Click Complete. The aircraft shows in a review list. Use Add Another Aircraft to keep going.
  7. Click Add to Fleet to finish.

If the new aircraft changes your Sky Schedule subscription, you'll see Upgrade Your Subscription with your current fleet, the change, and the new monthly total before you confirm.

Add aircraft from your website

If your school's site has a fleet page, Sky Schedule can read it for you.

  1. In Aircraft, click Add to Fleet and choose From your website.
  2. Paste the link to your fleet page.
  3. Review what it found: tail numbers and models, hourly rates, engine and horsepower, avionics, notes, and photos. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Choose Photos from website instead if your aircraft are already in Sky Schedule and you only want their photos.

Import from a CSV file

Choose Add to Fleet > Import from CSV. This opens Settings > Migration on the Aircraft tab, where you upload the file, check tail numbers, rates, meter readings, and status, then import. See Import Data From Your Previous Software.

Add a simulator

Choose Add to Fleet > Simulator to add a sim with its own name, type, and hourly rate. Simulators can be booked like aircraft.

Tips

Troubleshooting

  • Next is grayed out on the photo step. Add a photo or click Skip.
  • "Missing Information." Model, tail number, and year are required for an aircraft. A simulator also needs its manufacturer, model, and hourly rate.
  • The aircraft doesn't show on the Schedule. Open Aircraft > Status and make sure it's set to Available.
