Instructors API

Use the Sky Schedule instructors API to list and fetch the flight instructors at your school, with each CFI's name, email, phone, and active or inactive status.

The instructors API returns the flight instructors at your school, with each CFI's name, email, phone number, and whether they are active. Use it to keep a staff directory, a payroll sheet, or an on-call list in step with Sky Schedule.

The instructor object

List instructors

Query parameters

Instructors are sorted by name, A to Z, and both active and inactive instructors are included. Filter on status if you only want current staff.

Get one instructor

An id that doesn't exist in your school returns 404 with { "error": "Instructor not found." }.

Matching instructors to reservations and flights

Reservations list up to two instructors in people, and completed flights include the primary instructor. Neither includes the instructor id, so match on email. Like the customers API, this list holds personal information, so keep your key private.
